For the frontside carving lover, get K2’s iKonic 84 Ti. Highly versatile, for ripping groomers all day, no matter the conditions. With All-Terrain Rocker to float and crush through any crud. New this season, K2 has made improvements to its Konic Technology, by strategically placing metal to the construction for improved stability and control. By moving heavy metals away from the center of the ski for reinforcement on the edges, it gives stability and edge control. A Carbon Spyne is placed in the center of the ski for stiffness and performance without any extra weight. Equipped with Marker’s MXC 12 TCx bindings, that combines a wide toe with Twin Cam X heel for exceptional transmission of power. For a smooth, stable carving monster, get the new K2 iKonic 84 Ti.

Marker MXC TwinCam X Quikclick Bindings Included: The Marker 12 TCx combine a wide Triple Pivot Elite toe with a Twin Cam X Heel for optimal power transfer.

Ideal Target Skier: East Coast Hardpack Lover: This is an excellent ski for East Coast skiers that ski aggressively on the hardpack while still getting off trail a bit. West Coast skiers: this is a carving ski that should only be brought out when the powder is gone and its time to rip the groomers.

Skier Ability: Intermediate to Advanced: Sometimes these skiers are intermediate, and on a good day, they are advanced, but hard to commit to one level. They can ski most places on the mountain, sometimes with a little difficulty, but always making it down without crying and calling ski patrol.

K2 All Terrain Rocker: 20% Tip Rocker, 10% Tail Rocker, 70% Camber. All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance.

K2 Konic Technology: Revolutionary core design that redistributes weight to the ski's perimeter providing power, strength and stability directly over the edge for performance, while reducing swing-weight from the center and extremities for added ease and control.

Twintech Sidewall: Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90-degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The TwinTech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, minimizing ski-to-ski impact damage.

Metal Laminate: Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanal above and below the core. Metal Laminates provide damp, accurate, unshakable performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers.
