The Potion 76 is intended for intermediate to advanced ladies looking to ski groomed runs and have fun while doing it. This lightweight ski is 76mm in the waist and features K2's All Terrain Rocker for easy turn initiation on both hard-pack and soft snow. The Potion 76 also has Hybritech sidewalls and Titanium reinforcement which means its stable and easy to maneuver in most snow conditions at high speeds. This is also one of the prettiest skis we have seen, silver smoke just looks cool!

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Ideal Target Skier: East Coast Hardpack Lover: This is an excellent ski for East Coast skiers that ski aggressively on the hardpack while still getting off trail a bit. West Coast skiers: this is a carving ski that should only be brought out when the powder is gone and its time to rip the groomers.

Ideal Target Skier: Casual Cruiser: Sticking mainly to the groomed runs and always keeping speed in check, a Casual Cruiser doesn't even bother with the off trail snow, moguls, jumps, etc.

K2 All Terrain Rocker: 20% Tip Rocker, 10% Tail Rocker, 70% Camber. All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Titanium Layer: A thin, but strong layer of Titanium sits under the topsheet of this ski. Not only does it make the ski stronger, it keeps it lighter than other metals, and also creates a dampening effect for the ski. This means it rides smoother over bumpy terrain.

Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance.

Tri-axial Fiberglass: A weave of fiberglass with three directional orientation provides excellent strength to weight ratio and better torsional stiffness as compared to bi-axial weaves.

Hybritech Sidewall: Hybritech is a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions. The construction combines the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.

Metal Tip Protectors: These skis have rugged tip protectors made of metal that will help fight against chipping and damage to the tips, which is both a performance and cosmetic benefit.

MOD Suspension System: High-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected.

Product Questions

Product Questions

I am an intermediate/advanced intermediate skiier. I am looking at these and the absolute Joy ski. I am 5'8 and 145lbs. I ski the east coast and mostly groomed trails. I was wondering which would be the better choice and which binding to choose if I go with the K2 ski. I have a Nordica boot size 25.5.
Thank you

I love these skis. I am an east coast skier and we have not had the greatest of conditions this winter. These skis handle very nicely. I am an upper intermediate skier. I parallel 90% of the time, but still felt the need to pizza on the black hills. The control these skis offer has helped me start to feel comfortable enough to parallel the black diamonds. They are super light too, so carrying them is much nicer. (Posted on 3/8/2016)
