A plasticy feeling upper means 'cheap' for some, and for others it means 'extremely waterproof.' We're going with the latter. The Lamar Force is in the One Series, meaning it is built around the needs of the beginner to low intermediate rider. The liner does provide the support needed for more advanced riders, but maxes out before the advanced level is obtained. The faux leather exterior is more vinyl-like than other boots, so don't expect it to be anything like leather..

Secret Stash. You have found the secret stash, home to the best deals on the net, these are the best deals from a website of great deals, insane discounts on products we are trying to move out. These products won't last long so be sure to be quick on the trigger.

Tongue Pull: A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.

Removable Liner: This boot comes with a removable liner. Removable liners have the advantage of being easier to dry than non removable liners, and the disadvantage of usually being a little larger than a non removable linered boot of the same size.

Backstay: The back of this boot is reinforced for strength and stiffness. It gives you the support you need for any ability level.

Comfort Forming Internal Liner: The internal lining of this boot is very comfortable and conforms to your foot over time.

Dual Density Rubber Sole: One type or rubber to add stiffness to the sole, a softer rubber to increase grip.

EVA Footbed: A standard foam footbed that molds to the shape of the foot with pressure and normal use.

Flex Zone Tongue: A softer section in the tongue allows more forward flex that beginners need to stay comfortable and in control.

Integrated Heel Counter: A fancy name for a piece of plastic in the heel that gives extra support.

Liner Lace Lock: This liner features a lace lock to speed up the process of putting boots on. Just pull the lace tab upward until snug, then slide the lace lock down into place. It will ensure the boots stay snug throughout the day. When the day is over, just pull up on the lock knob and slide the foot out. Piece of cake!

PL Liner: The entry level liner, best suited for beginner to intermediate levels. The locking lace up system ensures a good fit with adequate support for riding at slow to average speeds.

PVC/EVA shell/tongue material: This scientific blend (PVC and EVA are both abbreviations of longer chemical names) offers more durability and comfort than other, uh, less scientific materials.

PVC Upper: The upper of this boot is a flexible PVC plastic, that feels about like a stiff leather. This material is highly waterproof and resists abuse well.

Soft Touch Laces: Softer material used so your hands and fingers don't get torn up while tightening the laces.

Moulded Sole: The sole is a moulded rubber pattern to give excellent shock absorption while riding and better traction when walking to and from the lifts.

Steel Hardware: The eyelets and other critical parts of the lacing system are made of steel for increased wear.

Moulded Tongue: Pre-formed tongues wrap around the foot and ankle to enhance the fit and eliminate the bulky feeling of a flat tongue.

Tongue Gusset with Pull Tab: The gusset keeps the tongue in place while riding, and the pull tab gets a good bite on the laces so they don't loosen up while riding.
