Lange 2015 RX 100 Ski Boots

SKU: 31926
Skiers looking for a more precise fit and strong performance, but not necessarily looking for a race boot, should take a look at Lange's RX 100. The RX 100 combines a 100mm last with a 100 flex boot, both of which indicate that this boot is built for performance but doesn't skimp on comfort features. The 100mm last is on the narrower side of things, but if you don't have a particularly wide foot, its perfect. We recommend the RX 100 to skiers who fall anywhere between the upper intermediate to expert skill level.

This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Description

Details

100 Flex Rating: This boot is pretty stiff, but not insanely stiff. A boot of this level is pretty good for upper-intermediate to expert level weekend warrior that is looking for something stiff enough to provide high-end response, while being wearable for an entire day of skiing.

100mm last: A performance width for advanced recreational skiers all the way up to expert level skiers. This is also suitable for skiers with narrower than average feet.

Excenter Canting Rivet: Canting on the outside of the boot and a pivot on the inside gives the skier control over the left and right angle of the leg to correct for knock-kneedness or bowleggednesss

Tongue Pull: A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.

35mm strap: Wider than average strap at the top of the boot to help keep the boot together and to give good performance while skiing.

Full Thermo Fit Liner: Body heat activates the material in this liner to shape to the skier's foot faster than a standard liner. The insulation also has heat reflective properties to keep the warm in, and the cold out.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

Control Fit Liner: A heat mold-able liner that is designed with anatomical padding for strong and comfortable ankle and heel hold.

Natural Stance : The forward lean of this boot is much less exaggerated than boots in the past. By providing a more neutral upright stance, the boot compliments modern rocker and shape skis that don't require increased forward lean.

Power Wrap Wedge: Plastic reinforcement (on the tongue) protects the shin, enhances the sensitivity and precision during the cuff motion. Basically the liner is stiff, similar to the boot, so aggressive skiers will get good feedback from the liner as well as the shell of the boot itself. And additionally, the tongue will provide a shinguard of sorts, so people jumping and landing can breathe a little easier.
