Alpina Ski Boots

Alpina Ski Boots

Alpina has been manufacturing all sorts of footwear since the mid 1900's, including alpine and nordic ski boots, winter footwear, hiking boots, and trekking boots. A small town in the foothills of the Southern Alps (Ziri, Slovenia) is where Alpina has calls home with their four factories and just over 2,000 employees. In this small town, Alpina has developed a scanning device that studies 12 key dimensions of a foot, to carefully craft their boots for a proper and comfortable fit.

Alpina's main goal with their line of ski boots is comfort-as proved by their 12 dimension foot scanning device used in their design process. The boots we carry (from their Sport Performance line) feature the classic four buckle design (macro adjustable) with a nice burly powerstrap (35mm). Despite these classic features found in the most sought-after boots, the flex and last on these particular boots, the X4L, certainly gear more towards beginners up to intermediate skiers who are looking for comfort over a tight fitting performance boot.

Alpina also makes some of the only rear entry boots we've seen since the 90's. This means they are offering the ultimate boot for beginners-incredibly comfortable and incredibly easy to take on or off, with a very affordable price tag. Even someone more advanced of a skier could use a rear entry boot, if they really wanted to be able to slip on their boots as easily as a pair of sneakers.
