Ski Boot Sizing Chart

Ski Boot Sizing Chart Background

Skiers at different experience levels may have different expectations when it comes to boot sizing. Our ski boot size chart is designed to provide the average skier with a safe, comfortable fit. However, if you are looking for a true performance-skier's fit (which will be about one half to one full size smaller), use our mondo ski boot sizing chart.

Kids with growing feet present a different issue when it comes to ski boot sizing. No parent want to buy expensive ski boots and only use them a handful of times before their child grows out of them. For this reason, many parents opt for adjustable ski boots which we highly recommend. It is also possible to size up slightly for novice child skiers without too much performance sacrifice. For more adept kids, sizing up may hinder improvement. When asking what size ski boots does my child need, it's important to balance performance against lifetime value.

Additionally, keep in mind that for most ski boots, the .0 size uses the same shell and liner as the .5 size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit. You can also check out our Ski Size Chart for help finding the right skis.

Measure Your Foot For Ski Boots

  • Place your bare foot on the sheet of paper with your heel lined up with the bottom of the page and your instep lined up with the edge of the page.
  • Mark the position of the tip of your big toe and the widest part of your foot on the paper.
  • Measure the length from the bottom of the paper to the toe mark in centimeters. This length will correspond with your mondo boot size so if your foot is 28cm long, you should buy a size 28 ski boot. Double check your boot size vs. shoe size in the boot size conversion chart above.
  • Measure the width from the edge of the paper to the mark you made at the widest part of your foot in millimeters. This will correspond to the last width of your ski boots. Each pair of boots we sell will include the last width in the listing.

Please note that for high performance ski boots it is common to size down in both the mondo size and last width in order to get a more precise fit that will offer better control while skiing.
