Kids tend to listen better and learn faster when someone other than their parents are giving instruction.

It can give a big confidence boost to learn among other kids around the same age.

REASONS TO TEACH KIDS TO SKI YOURSELF

Skiing is pretty pricey to begin with when you account for rentals, lift tickets, and transportation. Lessons just add another layer of cost you may want to avoid.

It is an excellent way to bond with your child and share your passion.

If you decide to do it yourself, don't be above bribery. Treats or candy can help get past the inevitable frustrations and make the experience more enjoyable for all involved.
