Level Nine Sports is currently seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to assist with a wide range of finance duties, including but not limited to:

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of financial reports under US GAAP
• Manage all aspects of the general ledger in including Billing, AR, A/P, revenue recognition, cost, and inventory accounting
• Supervision of junior finance team staff
• Understands fundamental principles of accrual accounting (assets, liabilities, P&L)
• Sales tax/VAT/GST compliance US and international
• Establish and maintain internal controls in respect to cash, inventory, and eCommerce accounts
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses
• Assist with the firm-wide budget and forecast process
• Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum 5+ year in a prior finance function

Preferred Skills:

• QuickBooks Online experience (preferred)
• Cloud ERP experience including NetSuite, Acumatica. (preferred)
• Experience in retail and eCommerce environment (preferred)
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (required)
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal (required)
• A keen interest in outdoor sports and recreation a plus!
