The Mitch Boy's Pant is a Camo colored pant for junior skiers and snowboarders. That's right they are Camo (they match the Greg Jacket FYI) so be careful you might lose your youngin's in the woods! But really, these pants are 3k/3k waterproof/breathability rated with some light insulation which ensures your kids will stay warm and dry while out in the elements. Some cool features of this pant are the removable suspenders and Grow-Tech which allows the pants to lengthen around 2 inches. Don't buy pants every year, grab a pair of M3's and you'll be saving heaps!

Grow Tech Expandable Pants/Jacket Sleeves: That's right these pants/sleeves will lengthen up to 2 inches. Simply turn the pants or jacket inside out and snip the RED seam. The pant legs or sleeves will then drop down two inches to better fit your growing boys and girls. M3 just wants to save you money year after year, and that's why we love 'em!

Polyester: Soft, fast-drying, somewhat heavy and insulated synthetic fiber.

3,000 Waterproof rating: This level of waterproofing is good for tubing, sledding, and sort of OK for skiing or snowboarding. Higher waterproof ratings will repel water more easily, but generally have a noticeably higher price tag. This waterproofing is suited best for recreational skiers and first timers that want to see what the whole skiing thing is about.

Internal Waist Adjustment Tabs: Adjustable tabs on the inside of the waist allow for a custom fit.

Cargo pocket: This pant has a cargo pocket down the leg to add extra style and function to the pants. Store your keys or anything else in there, and look good while doing it!

Ankle gaiter: An internal gaiter with elastic at the bottom goes over the boots to keep snow out and the legs warmer.

Belt Loops: Provides the option of wearing a belt for fashion or function.

Removable Suspenders: Easily attach or remove the included suspenders on the fly.

Leg vents: When it gets pretty hot out, its not the best idea to just drop your pants. So these have zippered slits to get airflow going through the legs to cool things down.

Taped seams: For maximum waterproofing, the seams on this piece of outerwear are taped internally. This feature also strengthens the seam and improves the durability.

For The Kids: A select list of our favorite junior gear. Hand picked by our very own ski gurus. This product made the cut.

Ankle Snap Slits: Cuff opens up to easily fit over boots or shoes.

Where are M3 products made?
Hi, we are heading to Lapland at Christmas so the temp will be around -30. Apparently it's very dry snow though. Just wondering how much insulation these pants have? And/oris there a pant better suited to the above mentioned conditions. I'm just very concerned about my kids having th most insulation possible. Thanks

Nice pants but came with broken domes :-(Review by Brown Baby
Everything about these pants screamed 'perfect' for my growing 11 yr old boy. The Grow Tech expandable seam (which is intriguing), removable suspenders, adjustable internal waist and of course the camo style, which he loooooves. I have my reservations about the 3000 rating but for the price the pants are really great value.
Unfortunately, when we opened the box (we bought helmets as well) the dome clips on the bottom of the leg cuffs, on both legs had come off and were sitting in the bottom of the plastic bag the pants came in, so had broken and fallen out in transit, which was surprising and a little disappointing.
I noticed that these two broken domes are the only domes that have a Plastic blind backing. All the other domes have a Metal blind backing & are still in perfect working order - so maybe something to consider when manufacturing as I see no reason why all the domes couldn't have a Metal backing.
It was a quick uncomplicated fix, which included a few hours of time & $16 worth of domes from the local hardware shop, but was still a slight downer.
It definitely won't stop us shopping at Level 9 as we've brought before and will buy again, but thought it's worth putting up a review just cause sometimes the detail is what makes a product. It's only the broken cdomes that stopped this review from being a 5 star (Posted on 6/15/2016)
m3 boys pantsReview by javajoe
my boy loves them. he's worn them skiing and sledding and he says they keep him warm and dry.. what else can you ask for.. also, he's a very stout, stocky 11 year old so the LARGE size fits him well.. i actually bought the XL's at first and he liked them but i thought they looked big so i ordered the LARGE to compare.. he liked them better and we sent back the XL's.. we've really gotten some nice gear from L9… i've gotten ski boots that i love, helmet, ski pants, etc …….. their customer service is 2nd to none.. if that ever changes, i'll have to shop somewhere else… keep rockin' L9.. great pantsReview by radka
We bought these about 1 month ago for my 8 year old - in Alberta, we often ski in -20 weather, and then in slush for those days above 0 - so far these have kept him dry and warm. Plus the cut is great, no too bulky but not too slim as to be restricting. Looking forward to letting the seams out for the next size! (Posted on 12/28/2014)
