      Raidlight Revolutiv

In these shoes, I have run on all kinds of trails (including the Long Trail) and roads all year round in Vermont. I have done distances over 20 miles and over 6000 feet of vertical in one run. I have used these shoes for about 9 months. They have been one of my favorite trail shoes. They have very good grip on rocks, dirt, mud, grass. They can get by on dirt roads and will work on pavement. They have good cushioning and protection for trails with rocks and roots with a rugged outer shell and toe bumper. Most shoes compromise cushion or feeling the trail. This shoe finds a good balance. The inner boot and very durable outer shell do not breath well or drain well in the rare occasion when water gets in the shoe. Better for cold weather than hot. The lace lock system started to lose its ability to keep a tight hold after a few hundred miles and I had to start tying the laces. My new pair included standard laces, which I will use. These shoes are worth the 117 dollars I paid, for the first pair in December, and are a steal at the current prices.
