This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Roces ski boots are the perfect choice for your child whose foot is still growing (that's probably the majority of them.) If you click on our link below you can find more information about these boots and how they work than you would ever need. The two buckle boots (16.0-18.5 and 19.0-22.5) are to be used with children's bindings. The larger (23.0-25.5) three buckle boots can be used with any bindings

We here at are absolute fans of this product and work closely with the manufacturer to improve the product. The changes from introduction to arrival in North America the season are bigger pins for the latch so the sizing set is rock solid secure, internal latch springs, and a softer flex so it is usable by all ranges of junior skiers.

IDEA is the first ski boot growing with the kids. Through the patent pending '6in1' technology, it is possible to adjust the size of the ski boot to accommodate the natural growth of the kids' foot.

There are two main advantages to getting Roces boots for your junior skier. The first is obvious in that you don't have to constantly buy new boots to get a great fit. Often overlooked is that since you are not getting new boots, you don't need to remount bindings as your child's foot grows, since the sole length of the boot remains the same as you expand and contract the fit.

When adjusting the size of the boot, make sure to always unbuckle the boot before adjusting the size. Use the included lever bar to turn the tab and adjust the size, no other tools should ever be used to adjust the fitting size.

Adjustable rear spoiler: With the turn of an allen key, the height at the top rear of the boot can be adjusted. If you are taller than average for your boot size, or if you just want the extra support at the back of the leg, you can adjust the spoiler up about 1cm from standard. This will also pitch you forward slightly into a more aggressive stance.

Micro Adjustable Plastic Buckles: These buckles are plastic to keep them lightweight, but unlike most plastic buckles they do have micro-adjustment capability so you can clamp down the boot at the perfectly comfortable position.

Affordable Ski Boots: Discount doesn't mean cheap. These discount ski boots are the most bang for your buck. Allowing you to buy ski gear that is great quality at a price that will not break the bank.

The Getting Started Guide: We have curated a list of everything you will need to get into skiing. Making it easy for those who are not yet confident in their purchase!

For The Kids: A select list of our favorite junior gear. Hand picked by our very own ski gurus. This product made the cut.

I'm looking for the pink in 16-18.5, do you know if these will be available? If so, do you have approximate ETAs?
I'm a 31yr old female with really small feet. Depending on the type of shoe, I range from a 2 (work flats) to a 4 (sneakers). My problem is that my ankles are too weak and lack the flexibility to endure the vigorous twisting and pushing to get a ski boot on, into a boot that will then be a snug fit for skiing. Can the size adjustment of this boot happen once a foot is already in it? So it's big enough for me to get my foot into, but then made smaller so that it fits well for skiing?
My daughter wears a size 1 US, what would be the best size for her to start with???
Do the Roces work for kids with narrow feet? My daughter is approx size 3 US I think (European 35) and has a terrible time finding shoes to fit her narrow feet (can only wear Richters for street shoes). b) If so, what size would she be US?
What is the boot sole length for the 22.5-25 size boot?
My son is 10 y.o. and his regular shoe size is US5-5.5. Please let me know what size I've to purchase of this particular model of the ski boots (Roces 2015 Idea Adjustable Ski Boots ), with them last for (at least) next two seasons) :)) I've tried to figure out by myself but size chart is confusing. Thanks!
Further to my previous question: Will a Roces 2014 Adjustable Kids Ski Boots 22.5 - 25.5 fit in my ski bindings? They have previously only had 23 - 24 mondo sizes in them.
considering the 22.5-25.5 size to go with Rossignol Red Edge Recreational Shape Ski with Axium 100 adjustable demo bindings. The bindings will adjust to fit adult ski boot boot sizes 5-13.If I set this boot to a size 5, will it fit this binding. Are there any restrictions of this boot with adult bindings?

My daughter wears a size 3 for ski boots....would the 22.5-25 Roces be too large for her? She's right on the upper limit for the 19-22s. Thanks!
Hi, My kid wore size 17 last winter, which size would you recommend for next winter? Would 19-22 be too big and uncomfortable for him?
I am having a tough time fitting my 8yr old daughter with boots, boots that we can find pinch her around her calves. We have rented for a couple of years and always had to go a size or two up...not ideal, Are the buckles adjustable on these boots? Are they generous in the mid calf
My son wears a size 12, foot 19cm long without shoes what size would be best for him? I was going to get the 19-22 option but would they be a bit big to start?
Hi There

What would the cost of freight be for 2 pairs to NZ
My daughter has a very narrow foot and she's comfort oriented. Has been skiing about 3 yrs, but is not aggressive (rather slow). She's a youth 3 or 4. Would that be a mondo 21.5? How would these fit a thin foot?
Do you sell replacement heel and toe parts for these boots and how much do they cost? I searched for this on your site but came up empty.
Hi, we have two kids with a foot length of 20-20.5cm, we are about to start our ski season here in NZ. My feeling is the 19-22. Would you agree or go for the 22.5-25.5
Hi What is the sole length for the 19-22 size boot? Cheers
My 10 yr old grandaughter has new size 3 1/2 Nike runners so I got her 21.5 Nordica Firearrow Team 3 boots but her foot was "squished" when we tried on just the inner boot. Should I buy her the 22.5-25.5 and if so, what is the sole length? Thanks for your help.
hi my boys feet are 18cm. hes skiing ok so I don't want to slow him down with an over sized boot but the sizes break at 18.5cm. we are in NZ so he needs to fit them now not in 6 months
Hi, How suitable are these boots for ladies? Are they the answer for me? My very old (unreadable size now) boots broke on the slopes last year and whilst I am a ladies size 6 (sometimes 6.5) in shoes, the hire pair I wore were a 24.0 Mondo (Dalbello?). You don't have much in stock for 23.5. I would be worried that 23. would be too small and 24 too large. My thin socked foot does measure just under 24 cm though.
These look perfect for my fast growing 3 kids! Just checking size wise. My sons foot measures 19cm and my daughter is measuring at 21cm. Would they both need to be in the medium 19-22?? How much room for growth would there be? I'm guessing my little guy who's foot is around 14cm is too small for these?
My son wears a US size 5 childrens shoe size, what would be the appropriate Roces ski boot size for him?
Hi there, what's the weight on those boots? Would it be too heavy for an 3 years old boy? Many thx, Mike
Hi. My twin boys are size 2 US shoes and we are wondering if they would be ok with size 22.5-25.5 with thick socks? Many thanks.
We are considering these boots but are wondering if the bindings need to be adjusted professionally each time the boot size is adjusted? Our son who is 7 is already skiing black diamonds and also loves the trees. Would these be appropriate for him? My husband is a bit skeptical as he knows how important good gear is. Thank you.
Do the Roces adjustable boot fit a standard binding?
Are these compatible with Salomon LZ7 bindings?
My son is 6 years old. He wears a sixe 13 tennis shoe right now. what size boot would you recommend AND how much bigger would the boot get for the next 2-3 seasons?
My daughter wears a size 3 - 3.5. I'd like her to be in boots for at least two seasons. Is it impractical to think she could fir in the Roces 22.5 to 25.5 adjustable boots with some heavy socks this year?
I am wondering How long the outshell size of 190-220mm roces boots is.
We have 2012 Roces boots pruchased from you (22.5-25.5). I am thinking of buying some 2014 Roces in the same size (so my son has something new, not hand me downs all the time!). Will the sole length be exactly the same so they will fit onto the skis and bindings we have been using for the 2012 boots? Thanks!
My older daughter age 9 skis mostly off-piste intermediate to expert trees, bumps etc, but no races. Would these work well for that. I see the expert box is not checked. Alternative is other seasonal ski rental boots. Thanks!
Hello, by looking at the introducing video, the metal tab can be put on one of the three positions. But why they called 6-IN-1 boots? I would image there should be 6 positions adjustable by looking at the name. thanks.
Are these compatible with Tecno E TC 45 Alpine Ski Binding Junior? My child's ski is Tecno Pro Sweety Girls Ski with Tecno E TC 45 Binding Junior.
Could you please advise the best size in the Roces boot for my daughter. Her foot is about 19cm and wears a size 13US shoe. Thanks
Hi, I have 2 children - with no socks on 1 has a foot that is 18cm long and the other has 21.5cm.What size boot should I go for - it is the start of the Ski seaons here in NZ. Thanks
Your sizing chart needs some clarification ! I love these boots and want to buy another pair .. I purchased last year a new pair for my son and I messed up the sizing for the roces boots he just outgrew the EU size 25-29 or Us 9jr-12 jr and I purchased last year in error the Eu 25-29 roces boot . I'm looking for the roces boot I between these two sizes ...please :) he is a Us size 1 shoe if this helps as well :)
Are you getting any of the 22.5 boots in black/silver combo? Also any 40' poles in the L9 brand or similar for kids? Thanks
Do these boots have two or three buckles on each boot? I've seen some in stores with two buckles across the bottom and one across the ankle/leg. These pictures show only two
I have 2 sons. My question is once boot size is changed-say to the bigger size, can they be converted back to smaller size-so if desired they can be passed down to younger brother?
Hi my daughters (5 years old) shoe size is Euro 32 which on review looks like a US size 3. What boot size would be best for her as I am unable to work it out using your chart - sorry! We are in New Zealand so need it get size correct as unable to ship back without great expense. Many thanks
Hi. My 17 month old son has just graduated to a size 7 shoe. With thick socks would he be able to wear the smallest of these boots as hes not going to be doing any sort of advanced skiing this winter?
Our son has a size 16cm foot length. What size would he need and how long would they fit him? Also do you ship to NZ?
The length of my daughter (4.5 yrs old)'s foot is about 17cm, what size of boot should I buy?
Are you able to purchase replacement liners if you need to.
Hi there, My kids feet are 18cm and 24 cm... will the 19-22 and 22.5-25.5 ones be ok?

got the 2 smallest sizes and loved themReview by Katy
I bought the 16+ and 18.5+ for my 3 and 5 year old girls. They are both wearing them on smallest setting. my 3 year old was a size 15.5 or less, but had no complaints with her boots. She was doing pizza turns on day 3 in them. Both girls were keen to keep skiing after a whole day of lessons everyday. We just got back from a 4 day ski holiday and they wore them from 8am-5,30pm 4 days straight without complaining once of being cold or uncomfortable and their skiing progressed through several ski class levels. They were incredibly easy to size adjust. The girls love the bright pink colour. Cant fault them. (Posted on 7/9/2017)
Great for little kidsReview by Andrew
These boots have been great for our 6 year old (now 7 year old). They really do adjust and they are a super comfy fit.

For little kids, it's hard to see anything being much better. (Posted on 11/13/2016)
Ingenious creation!Review by An
I bought 2 pairs of Roces for my daughter and son. On the snowy mountains in Australia, we were approached by other parents, inquiring about the boots and we told them all about L9. They fact that they came in at under AU$150, and adjustable up to 4 sizes left a few people gobsmacked. Expect an influx of Australian buyers guys, can't recommend you enough on and off the ski fields. (Posted on 8/9/2016)

Not only will these boots last us for a few years, but they were comfortable and kept my daughter warm and dry. Such a brilliant idea for growing feet and easy to adjust to size. 10 days on the boot so far as they are great. (Posted on 1/28/2016)

Super cost effectiveReview by Paulkarama
I got these boots for my daughter for Christmas and I got no complaints about warmth or fit. I have been buying boots for her every 1 to 2 years and therefore either end up with crappy boots or spending a crap ton of money. What a great solution. These are quality boots that will last for 4 to 5 seasons. (Posted on 12/30/2015)

Order process was quick and efficient. Product is excellent..exactly what I ordered. (Posted on 12/28/2015)
Great deal - Perfect for growing kids!Review by Powder Dreamer
I purchased two pairs of these boots 3 years ago, for two very different skiiers - one aggressively fast with terrible form, and one who makes perfect slow turns down the hills. They both love them and the boots have held up well. We're about to go into our 4th season with them. I won't be buying another boot for either, until their feet stop growing!

You don't see them in shops here in the East, so we're always telling people on the slopes where to get this great product.

Level Nine's customer service is the BOMB! Just bought my 6th pair of skis from them today and wouldn't think of purchasing elsewhere. (Posted on 12/17/2015)

This is my daughter's second set of Roces. After almost 3 seasons she outgrew her first set. That says it all. Will be buying these right up until both kids get into junior boots. (Posted on 12/10/2015)

Great for growing feetReview by Treth
Pros: the ease of adjustment
Cons: Average quality...see below
Location: New Zealand
This is our 2nd pair as the first pair broke upon the very first try on in our boys bedroom. One of the buckles completely pulled out of the boot. I have to say that Level 9 were fantastic and couriered another new pair of boots straight away all the way to us in New no charge.. The 2nd pair have been faultless. My son thinks they are warm and comfortable for his full days on the mountain, so you can't ask for more than that in a boot. (Posted on 8/18/2015)
Great bootsReview by JoR
Pros: Easily adjustable, long lasting
Cons: None
Location: Canberra, Australia
I heard about these through word of mouth. Purchased the larger size for my 9 yo son and they fit him well at the smallest setting. Adjustable 3 ways, and the good thing is that the sole length of the boot doesn't change, so neither do the ski bindings. Great service from Level Nine - received the boots in Australia only 3 days after ordering them. Postage costs very reasonable; I think I will be a return customer! (Posted on 7/30/2015)

Brought for my daughter for our Christmas skiing holiday, she has used them for times at the snowdome. She says they are "really comfy dad" and they must be as she has not moaned about them once. Great boot that should last a good few years. Will definitely buy another pair when she out grows these. (Posted on 7/21/2015)

So pleased with these boots for my 11 yr old daughter. We ordered the white & pink, they fit really well, the adjustments are so easy & they came already fitted to the skis we also ordered. A Must Buy!Review by Ski Dad
Pros: Value, Quality, Convenience, Performance
Cons: None
Location: Boulder, CO
We are a Colorado ski family and I don't understand why these are no well known out here. Hands down the most under appreciated product in the ski industry. With three girls under the age of 7 learning to ski these have been invaluable.Top reasons: 1. Getting Started. Girls have a right to fight for pink. These came in bright fun and basic colors without having to trade off on performance cost or features. I didn't have to convince them to wear these, they WANTED to try them. Rather than do a seasonal rental and fight with them on the slopes to try on boots. We bought these early and let them wear them around the house and play (while watching Warren Miller clips on TV of course). By the time snow fell and we hit the slopes they were chomping at the bit to ski. 2.Wearing them. Once on, seem to be extremely comfortable and warm. Never a complaint on my boots hurt or my toes are cold. Their apre-ski of playing in snow drifts at the base, never asked to change boots. Happy kids feet= Happy Mommy= Happy daddy. 3. Skiing in them. Strong fit and control. Able to get them snug so the kids can learn control and have fun. Plus with the same sole plate size on three different kids who are set to different sizes on the 16.0-18.5 model, I can switch them between each other's skis with no hassle to help up size or down size them to help their learning and fun. 4. Value. I've gotten up to 4 seasons out of the boot for my oldest and 3 out of the middle. Granted they are small kids and grow slowly, but that value is a No brainer. Finally level9 has been awesome in helping me outfit and teach my kids to ski. Despite the sore back and legs, it's been one of the best experiences of my parental life and they helped me do it right. I'm loyal to them now. (Posted on 4/3/2015)

Great BootsReview by Boston
Pros: Last for seasons!
Cons: Heavier
We've had these boots for more than 4 years - 2 different pairs. First pair has been given to younger brother and older brother is on the second pair and year 2 and clearly has at least two years left before he'll grow out of them. Best deal and easiest approach for boots! Kids don't seem to notice that they might be a little heavier than a pair of boots that will only last one year. (Posted on 3/1/2015)
Great Purchase Review by Siemteam
We only ski about 10-12 days a years. In the past we have just rented gear for the kids. This year I decided to buy them good gear instead of spending money on ski school. I am very pleased that I did. My just turned 4 year old and just turned 6 year old were skiing well after one day on these boots and skis. When I would consider our past kids ski experiences, even earlier this season, unsuccessful. My kids are 4 years old, 9.5 shoe. And 6 years old 10.5 shoe (Posted on 2/26/2015)
Good bootReview by Bill
Pros: Adjustable
Location: Henderson, NV
My 7yr old has used these boots four times. So far so good. No complaints about sore feet or pinching. Haven't had to adjust the boot. Fit was good when it arrived (told them his shoe size etc). Had a problem with the first boot (the tongue came out, maybe I pulled too hard). Emailed the company and they emailed me a packing label to send the old one back and sent a new pair of boots. If nothing else the company has great customer service. (Posted on 2/18/2015)

Cold wet feet.Review by Steve
Pros: Easy to put on. No complaint about fit.
Cons: Cold and wet feet.
Location: Sunshine Coast, Australia.
We used these for three weeks at Big Sky Montana in conditions that were not particularly cold and our son complained of painfully cold feet several times. His toes were always wet when we removed the boots. Our sons feet were at the top of the fitting range when we used them so they were a one use only boot and did not grow with him. We had no complaints about sore feet and they were easy to put on and off. (Posted on 2/5/2015)

Got these for my 10yr old son. He loves them. He can get them on and buckled himself and says they are so comfortable. He even skied better in them. Very easy to use. Great BootsReview by Jpski
Pros: Low Cost - Long Life

These are great boots for growing kids. As a professional ski instructor I work with many families with growing kids. These boots are easy to adjust, fit well, and quality material. The size adjustment will yield 2-3 years easily and then still have value to pass down to another child. EXCELLENT choice for the entry level family. (Posted on 1/20/2015)

These boots are AWESOME! I bought 2, one of each size for each of my children. Took them out for the first time this weekend, and they worked great. No complaining from the kids about sore ankles, or squished toes. Simple to adjust, and will work for several seasons. If you have kids and you're thinking about hooking them up with their very own skis... buy them! (Posted on 1/5/2015)
Great ski bootsReview by ski grandma
Pros: easy to get on
The boots are so cute & easy to get on. Our granddaughter loves them with her pink & white skis. Only wished we would have known about the boots when she started skiing at 4. Great recommendation from Levelnine sports (Posted on 12/31/2014)
Great Kids BootReview by JBoo and Dad
Pros: Perform as Advertised

Direct quote from an 8-year-old user after skiing blues in cold conditions in Utah: "They worked great - comfortable, easy to get on and off and stayed warm all day. There isn't anything that I don't like." And from the adult perspective, the size adjustments are very easy to make. The boot performs as advertised. Great boot. (Posted on 12/29/2014)
Great bootsReview by Ann
Pros: Adjustable size
Location: West Bloomfield, Michigan
My son likes his boots. They're warm, comfortable, look good, and seem to be good quality. Of course the most important thing for me is the adjustable size. He's at size 4 in a size 4-7 boot. I'm just so glad that I won't have to buy new boots for him every year. (Posted on 12/29/2014)

Great boots for growing feet Review by DB
Pros: Very adjustable, seem high quality, pretty affordable
Cons: None yet

These boots are incredibly adjustable and seem like just the ticket for kids with growing feet. I have a 2.5 and 6.5 year old. Both haven't complained about the fit, or about cold feet (yet, we'll see). W'eve had them out twice this year so far. The boots seem very affordable if you think about using them for two seasons. They are only a two buckle boot, so older kids (maybe >8) may want to step up to a more aggressive boot if they have been skiing many seasons already. (Posted on 12/29/2014)

Had the best experience purchasing my son's first set of skis, boots, and helmet. It can be a daunting task but Level Nine makes it easy! The bindings were adjusting according to his weight and height, delivered to our door in a timely manner and ready to go. The "grow with your child" boots are ingenious! (Posted on 12/4/2014)

My daughter loves these boots. They are comfortable and keep her feet warm. She did not complain once in 6 days of skiing about these new boots being uncomfortable. She is an intermediate skier and her control of her skis in these boots were very good. And to top it off, she still has 3 sizes to go before she grow out of them! (Posted on 7/20/2014)

I bought these for my 6 year old son after reading all the rave reviews and was not disappointed. My son found the boots very comfortable and they've still got at least 2 more ski seasons left in them. Nice boots for kidsReview by marsound
Pros: Well made, nice adjust feature
Cons: Might outgrow?
These boots are very well made, and fit my son's foot well. The adjustment feature is nice. Only issue is how well they will work as my son's skills advance; but they should be fine for the two seasons or so you can expect from them. (Posted on 5/9/2014)

We first discovered when we decided to take up skiing as a family. We canvased all the local shops and big sports stores looking for the best deals possible! We had nothing and had to purchase gear for 3 adults & 2 children. With start up costs appearing to be fairly high no matter the store of choice, we decided to investigate online? We stumbled across by Google search and were pleasantly surprised that for the same equipment our total cost including shipping was about the same as I was quoted for skis, boots and poles for myself only from other retailers? We also found the Roces Idea kids ski boots, these boots are incredible to say the least! Despite local retailers saying we should avoid adjustable ski boots and after some lengthy phone calls with Patient & understanding Levelninesports staff (thanks for taking the time), we decided to go forward with them. Our daughters started skiing at 4yrs old and are still able to use the same boots 4yrs later due to the adjustability! Most recently we purchased a pair of the same boots for our son. Sorry for the wordy reply but customer service & personal attention like theirs is extremely rare in the retail world and only truly understood by very few! Thanks Levelninesports for helping to get our family of the couch during the winter months, we look forward to purchasing from you again as or children grow & our gear needs change over the years!! Great company - don't shop anywhere else!Review by Matt
Pros: Great company, great product, fit perfectly, excellent price and easy to purchase online! Highest recommendation!

This is the best company to deal with bar none. The products were great but first about the service. I was leaving for a family ski vacation and heard about levelnine from a friend. I was somewhat reluctant to purchase skis and boots online particularly since I was clear across the country. But I decided to go ahead and I ordered equipment for my three kids to be delivered next day air since I was leaving in a few days and wanted to provide enough time to make sure I received them before we left. Well, the next day the skis did not arrive. The day after, no skis. The third day, still no skis. It was not Levelnine's fault but UPS. I couldn't get anyone at UPS to help and each time I called I got someone from Guatemala. Unfortunately I had to leave for vacation without the skis, boots, etc. I had to rent skis for all three children. On my return I explained the situation to Levelnine and they actually agreed to refund me the cost of the shipping and the cost of the rentals!! I don't know of any other company that would do that. I now recommend this company to everyone and won't buy ski equipment anywhere else again. As to the products, they were great. The adjustable ski boots for the kids are awesome and just what we've been looking for so we don't have to deal with rentals for the kids every year. The boots fit perfectly and look great. They are easy to use. And you can't beat the price. Levelnine is the place to purchase your skis and boots. (Posted on 3/18/2014)

After reading other positive review about these boots, we purchased them for our 7 year old son who has just become independently mobile on his skis. I can't speak highly enough of these boots after his first week of skiing on them. He is on the smallest setting and he has been comfortable, warm and dry. With the amount of use he will get from these with the adjustability, they are great value for money. If he doesn't grow out of them before his younger sister needs them, we'll be buying a pair for her too. (Posted on 3/15/2014)

I was always weary of buying adjustable footwear for skiing, as I have done the same for ice skates (which didn't work out) These boots are great, first time skiing this past month and no complaints from the kids. Also cost less then typical non adjustable boots. Wish I knew about these sooner, as my kids have out grown 2 pairs before getting these. (Posted on 2/27/2014)

I was a bit wary of these at first - but they are well made with no real compromises in function. Easily adjustable. Better still, the plastic is quite flexible, making the boot easy for kids to get on and off even when cold. My girls loved the color choices as well. This is our second pair and won't be the last. Great quality, easy to adjust and very comfortable. Our first pair are into the second kid and they still look new. I have never had a complaint of tired sore feet or cold feet. They fit the kids great and we get 2-3 seasons out of one boot with the size adjustment. They are definitely worth the few extra bucks. This is my third pair. Unfortunately, my son's feet are growing faster than his older sister, and they are both in the same size boot. Do, we needed a second pair. This was a no-brainier purchase. I love these boots, and the kids love them. No worries about feet growing mid season, or even from one season to the next. I thought they might be cheep, but these boots are solid and quality. I definitely recommend. (Posted on 2/12/2014)

Pros: Easy to adjust
Cons: More instructions

My daughter loved the pink boots. I found them easy to adjust once I figured out what I was doing. It could have used more instructions on the adjusting rather than just a diagram. I am looking forward to years of use. They are quality boots and have more padding in the boot than her other kid boots. Great bootsReview by Marina
Pros: Fit for a long time
Cons: Large volume for smallest size
Location: Canada
I love these boots! They are fantastic for using for a long time. I am a ski instructor so I want my kids boots to fit well. The only negative was the length was perfect at the smallest size but the total volume of the boot at the smallest setting was too much for my kids skinny little feet. So I just cut out some water resistant foam that is used in boot fitting shops and lined the bottom of the boot to take up the volume. The kids are still able to learn to carve and my pocket book is happy! Level nine sent us the boots immediately and even though the came over the border it was a little over a week and we received them! Also when I called and asked about adjusting skis to the boots they were super helpful. (Posted on 2/12/2014)

Had our first ski day this weekend and kids had no complaints with the boots. I've always been weary of adjustable type of equipment for feet. But saw good reviews and I have to agree, these boots work great. Service at Levelnine is awesome, as we had issues with one boot and they immediately took care of the issue. When my kids out grow the current gear, I'm going to buy everything from them. (Posted on 2/10/2014)
Perfect for kidsReview by Dean
Pros: Comfortable and well made
Cons: Inner liner not the best design - but still comfortable
Location: Australia
These are great boots for kids (and parents not wanting to buy new boots every season). The adjustable shell is a great design and works well. I was a bit surprised when I pulled the inner boot liner out of the shell. The way it is cut and concertina's in/out with some plastic seemed very basic and not well designed. I actually thought it would be very uncomfortable. In saying this we did 16 days skiing last season and my 6 y/o son never complained once about his boots (he said they were very comfortable). I will be getting a smaller set this season for my 4 y/o daughter. Overall I'm very happy with this product (if the kids are happy I'm happy!). I do hope the liners are still comfortable when the boots are extended to their maximum setting (time will tell). I think the liners could be designed better - but in terms of serving its purpose, thus far its 5/5 and the price is great for a boot that should fit over 2-3 seasons. PS- level nine is the best! I've ordered multiple items to Australia - shipping is usually 5-10 days (5 days is very fast). I've told all my mates and now heaps of us are ordering from L9 (great prices, products and service). Pros: easy to fit
Cons: not the most technical
Location: SoCal
These are the best kids boots available. My children's feet can grow quickly-but with these boots they will fit for several seasons. While they aren't the most technical boots, my kids don't like the fit of the technical boots. Another positive-my children have been known to say the boots feel fine at home and then want the boots adjusted on the mountain. They are easy to adjust, so it is no problem! (Posted on 2/8/2014)

I have been eyeing these boots for about a year. Finally ordered a pair. My husband said it was easy to adjust and it was perfect for our daughter who's foot size varies by a half size between her 2 feet! She can put the boot on herself and do it up! Her feet were a bit cold one day but it was also -20C on the slopes that day. She loves the boots and says they are comfy, which is the most important! I would recommend this boot to others and look forward to many years of use. (Posted on 1/7/2014)

Pros: Adjustable, easy on/off, great for kids
Cons: None

After researching all the junior boots and looking at the options in used boots, I decided on Roces adjustable boots when my two oldest kids started to ski. Now, all four of my kids have a pair. I recommend them to every parent. This is a great boot, easy on & off, well built, and you won't go broke buying new boots as your kids grow. You won't need to move their bindings, either. Right out of the box the adjusting mechanism is a little tight but it loosens up with use. Hang on to the little tool because you'll need it next season. In a pinch, any allen key will work. Say good-bye to buying new boots every season! (Posted on 1/5/2014)

Pros: Adjustable, lasts for several seasons
Cons: Adjustment is a bit tricky to move

These are awesome boots, I can't find them anywhere in Canada and I was blown away by Levelnine's great flat shipping to Canada. The only down side to the boots which is minor is that it is a bit tricky to adjust the boot size with the design they have now. Once you get used to it there is no problem and you only need to adjust the size once a year or so anyway. (Posted on 11/14/2013)

GoodReview by Snowed-In
Pros: adjustable
Cons: heavy
Location: Regina Canada
I bought these for my daughter for Xmas 2012. She found them a bit heavy and perhaps just a bit big for her even on the smallest setting even though I measured carefully and tried on a pair that match the smallest setting number. I still think we will enjoy having them as she grows. The accordin insert is a good idea but the material could be more flexible. Overall they are a leading edge idea. (Posted on 3/15/2013)
Good junior bootReview by Sometimes Skiing
Pros: Excellent fit quality
Cons: None to mention
Location: Australia
Bought these as second boot for our four year old. They are good quality and will save us money over the next few years so that we do not need to buy new boots each year. Agree with other comments that these are not stiff boots for experienced skiers, but when he gets to that level we will buy junior racers. (Posted on 3/15/2013)

Great boots so farReview by Ski mom
Pros: Adjustable!
Cons: Not many
Location: alberta
These boots are for our four year old - so we missed some of the smaller sizes - but hope it will be a hand me down. Great adjustibility! Good fit and the liners come out for drying just like big people boots! Easy on and off (ski boots are tricky anyhow) One thing to watch out for is make sure the plastic part under the buckle goes under the right part - hard to explain in words but if you don't do it right - you can bend the plastic. Nice bootsReview by etg
Pros: quality, adjustable, value
Cons: narrow tongue
Location: Portland OR
These are great boots, and they are well made. However, it seems like the tongue on the boot is rather narrow and is causing some pinching of the shins at the sides of the tongue. My three year old says the boots hurt, so we will try some socks with a thicker shin section and see how it goes. It's possible that the meat of his calf is so low that his leg is thicker than it should be in the boot. He's just turned three. I am not sure these boots would be a good choice for a kid with thicker than average calves, but I don't know if there are other options for such kids. Aside from that issue, they are great boots, easy to adjust, and high quality. We are hoping the pinching is not a long-term problem. (Posted on 2/27/2013)
Great boots but watch bindingsReview by Jimaka21
Pros: Economical, comfortable, well made
Cons: Does not fit with all bindings
I bought these and they were better than I expected. They are really well made and easy to adjust. I had to return them because they could not be mounted on my son's bindings. Just make sure they will work with the model binding you have or are buying. LevelNine was great about returns - as always. (Posted on 1/10/2013)
Amazing Deal!!!Review by skimom
Pros: Great Fit, easy to change size, comfort/warmth
Cons: none
Location: CNY
I purchased 2 pairs for my twins at age 9. Now they are age 11.5 and have gotten every penny from these boots. They have taken them from Big Sky to Vail and our little slope in NY, never with a problem. They keep the kids feet warm and dry, fit any binding and have lasted 3 seasons for an average cost of $33/year. Best of all, I'm sure that we will be able to get 75% or more of the cost back when we sell them to the next family. (Posted on 12/30/2012)
Great bootsReview by Meglara
Pros: Comfortable & long wearing
Location: Calgary, AB
These boots are the 3rd pair of boots we have bought for our 4 year old daughter. I love knowing that we will get at least 2 years out of them before having to shop again. She says they are comfortable and warm. I love that they are easy to adjust and easy to get into. We will definitely be buying the next size up of these boots when the time comes! Third Pair for my BoysReview by Alfonzia
Pros: Durable, well-made, great value
Cons: None
Location: Santa Monica, CA
I have two growing boys (are there any other kind?) - and the oldest has now moved into the biggest size Roces boots. He started with the smallest ones 4 years ago. My youngest one used them this season and they have held up fine. Unless your child is on the junior race team, these boots will more than serve your needs. Easy to put on, keep their feet warm and dry, solid materials, and the kids love them. (Posted on 6/7/2012)

Pros: Guessing Size doesnt' matter as much
Cons: Unknown

I purchased the boots this year for my grand daughter to wear next year and since these size adjust I feel quite confident doing so. The price can't be beat, the front buckle boot appears to offer good support, and Level 9 is a stand up business I've been dealing with them for many years now. (Posted on 4/28/2012)
:Great ValueReview by Satisfied Customer
Pros: comfortable & well made; outstanding value
Cons: none
Location: Vsncouver BC
Just finishing up our second season with the Roces boots. No complaints from our 6 years old. Very easy to put on. Boots stand up well to the abuse of being thrown in the back of the van and / or our Thule box. Boots still look great. Thought that I would be lucky to get 3 seasons out of the boots but it looks like we'll get a fourth. We ski Whistler once or twice a year and have a season's pass at Seymour. Without a doubt an excellent bargain. (Posted on 4/7/2012)

Pros: Adjusts to your kids growing feets
Cons: none

I was looking for a new set of boots for my little girl and stumble on those Roces Ski Boots. The boots look great, my girl love it and they can fit on junior bindings that was the most on getting new skis for her. The reviews were very heplfull and we had 10 sorties with the new boots - love that spring ski. Nothing to complaint about it and some folks loved the idea and asked where we bought, so Levelnine might be getting more order from Quebec ;-) (Posted on 3/31/2012)

Love - Mother of growing boysReview by Ohio - skier
Pros: Adjust to growing feet
Cons: none that i have found
Location: Northeast Ohio
This is the second pair of adjustable ski boots that I have bought. I bought the first pair for my middle child last year. Loved them. Just note they are shipped at largest setting, so don't forget to adjust them before use. I made this mistake. I had to buy a second pair for my oldest this year. I know they will last a few years. My only problem, is my middle child will not have outgrown his pair, by the time my third child learns to ski next year, so i will be buying a third pair. But I highly recommend them and tell everyone about them. (Posted on 2/22/2012)

GREAT boots!Review by AK Skier
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Alaska
These boots are the PERFECT solution for the fast growing young skiier! This is the second pair I have purchased for my daughter. Got two years out of the first pair and was able to sell them at our local ski swap for only $20 less than I paid for them. They are great boots and infinitely adjustable for both foot length and calf height. And they really are a well made and comfortable boot even for intermediate to advanced skiers who require a fair amount of stiffness. I have recommended these boots to tons of people without any reservation. (Posted on 2/13/2012)

GREAT SKI BOOTSReview by Maine Mom of 3 skiiers
Pros: Terrific adjustable ski boots

We've been using these boots for the past five years with our growing daughters! Feet grow fast between the ages of 6 and 14! These allow us to get several years of use out of one pair of boots without having to adjust bindings each and every year! Comfortable, fashionable, and economical. We love them! Great, Economical BootsReview by DV Girls
Pros: Comfy, Warm

Love Them!!!Review by Momof2girls
Pros: Sizeable!!!
Location: Canada
We purchased these boots for our daughters, and we are beyond pleased with them. The girls like how pretty they are, and we love that they can be sized! Usually you have to predict at the beginning of the season what size your kids' feet are going to be by the end of the season. This takes all of the guesswork out of boot buying! Plus, the boots are always sized perfectly to their feet rather than being too big at the beginning of the season - a huge plus for beginner skiers who need all the help they can get with their ski performance. The boots are really easy to adjust so you can continuously adjust them throughout the season as their feet grow without any trouble. I highly recommend these! (Posted on 1/31/2012)
not your average skier?Review by whatever
Pros: sturdy
Cons: bulky liner when in small position
Location: cold-ass maine
Sorry we can't give the glowing reviews that everyone else is giving. But I have never met a ski boot l liked anyway so take this for what it is worth. If your kid is anything like my fussy 9-year old daughter (who can ski all terraine in any conditions) where comfort is king, you might want to think about another option because the liner is a bit funky with this unique design. the problem is, there are no decent options because boot design hasn't changed since i was in leather boots. damn I'm old, no wonder I'm so cranky! about time Review by ashank1m
Pros: ease of adjustment, wear, confort
Cons: why someone didn't make this sooner?
Location: Fairfax, VA
Boot that grows with kid... what an idea. Kids grow so fast you can't wear same boot in two season. This will definitely outlast kid. Entry and exit is easy, contrary to my though of it might not be comfortable due to adjusting inner line, I found no wetness or complaint from my kid wearing this for over 8 hours. Yes, 8 hours of wear by 7 year old and no complaint. (Posted on 1/31/2012)
Perfect for my 8 year oldReview by Happy Virginia Mom
Pros: Fit great, plenty of room for growth
Cons: None
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
I had never heard of adjustable boots, but these are working great for my 8 year old daughter. I told the techs that she wears a size 1 shoe and they adjusted the boots at the shop to fit her right out of the box. Delivery was super fast and she will get 2-3 seasons with the same boot. She says they are comfortable and warm. What else could you ask for? (Posted on 1/31/2012)

Best Kids BootsReview by Alison
Pros: sizing, comfort and warmth
Cons: nothing
Location: Hoboken
This is my son's second pair and they last several years particularly if you buy them at the bottom of the size range. My son did seem to find them too small when he was at the top of the range so it is possible they run a 1/2 size or so smaller than sneaker size. Awesome boots! (Posted on 1/30/2012)

economical and anatomicalReview by alusa
Pros: soft shell, more then 2 seasons, comfortable
Cons: none
great boot, so far the best child's boot I have seen (I am a ski instructor). Without any directions my son (3) has completely natural stance in them since the day one. Shell is soft enough for him to bend his ankles. The way to go with the children's boots. (Posted on 12/29/2011)
Excellent ValueReview by Jill
Pros: Can be used for more than one season
Cons: None

Just came back to order the next size up for my son. He has been wearing the middle size and we got 2 seasons out of them before needing to get the larger size this year. Ski boots are expensive and being able to get multiple years out of one pair for a growing child makes the cost worthwhile (Posted on 11/25/2011)

No complanints from either kid!Review by Wapitarian
Pros: warm enuf, grow with them easy, well built, already 3years on first set.
Cons: bought a set when 5 year old was 2and half planing on handing down to little sis in 2 years but didn't out grow them so had to buy a new set in same size. he may actually make 4 years in the same boot awsome!
Location: Lakeview OR
whoever designed this boot diserves a huge pat on the back. It's basic, easy to adjust, comfurtable on the kiddo's feet, warm, dry, and makes both my kids skiing trips enjoyable. Have approx 90 days on first set and 30 on second for little one and not a issue vet aside from top bukle coming undone somtimes in diecent crashes when pants are pulled off of them. Great boots will be buying the next size if the kids ever out grow the first sets. (Posted on 9/16/2011)
