The Rossignol Trickstick Amptek RSP board is the same design as the regular Trickstick but this model was originally intended to be part of a rental fleet. All that really means is that it has got rubber bumpers on the nose and tail that will prevent top sheet chipping. This board also features Rossi's spectacular Amptek rocker profile that has camber between the feet and a rockered nose and tail. First time riders will love this board but its accessible to a wide range of abilities since its not exceptionally soft.

Generic Snowboard Sizing Chart

A good rule for snowboard sizing is about chin height. A little longer for stronger or heavier than your height riders. A little shorter for beginners or lighter than your height riders. Also keep in mind if you have very small feet for your height you will probably need a shorter and thus narrower board and if you have big feet for your height you may need a longer and thus wider board for your height.

Description

Details

Amptek Auto Turn Rocker: The original rocker infused with camber between the feet delivers great float and playfulness combined with pop and stability. AmpTek is a pat-pending technology that comes in 3 versions where the camber and rocker height and length vary to better fit the needs of all riding styles.

Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively.

ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.

Symmetrical Twin: This board is a full on twin-tip snowboard. Not a directional twin tip, or an asymmetrical twin-tip. The tip and tail are exactly identical, so you can spin and land switch, ride switch, do whatever you want in either direction.

4400/3400 Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax the board every day.

Nose and Tail Protectors: This board has plastic bumpers that are riveted to the nose and tail to prevent delamming and prolong the life of the board.

Product Questions

Product Questions

I'm new to snowboarding and am trying to figure out which board I want. I've decided to go with traditional camber or a rocker-camber-rocker or a camber-rocker-camber. Is this board closer to a full on rocker or a hybrid?

Sick board dude. Would you recommend this stick for some serious pow-pow?

Great beginner board. Easy to turn. Allowed me to progress from the bunny slope to greens. Still need lots of practice but feel like it was much easier to control than the rental boards.

Make sure to check the board sizing chart. Using the right board for your weight and shoe size is important! (Posted on 3/22/2017)
