Rossignol Soul 7 Skis/ K2 Spyne 90 Boots Complete Ski Package

SKU: RSOUL7PACK
The Rossignol Soul 7 is one of the most revered powder skis of the past few years. This 108mm wide ski features Tip and Tail Rocker with Airtip Technology which allows this fairly wide ski to turn with the precision and quickness of a narrower carving ski. Basically, everyone agrees, Rossignol pretty much nailed it when designing this ski, and here we are offering in a complete package with bindings and boots included. The Tyrolia LX 12 is the binding we chose and it has a DIN range from 3-10 and can be mounted to fit any boot size. The K2 Spyne 90 Boot also comes included with a middle of the road 90 flex and a comfortable 90mm last which will match up to the Soul 7 quite nicely.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Tail Rocker: Just like Tip rocker, but in the tail, this feature allows the tails of the skis to release easier from the turn to give the skier the ability to turn the skis quicker in tight spots. It also allows skiers to dump speed by forcing the tails out and sliding sideways. The effective edge is reduced because of the tail rocker, so the skis will also be easier to control when forced to ski on the groomed slopes.

Air Tip Technology: Patented air-honeycomb design reduces the weight and dramatically reduces the swing weight of the ski by nearly 30%. This significantly enhances maneuverability, giving the ski and ultra-light feel. Reinforced with ABS for durability and enhanced torsional rigidity.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

Skier Ability: Advanced to Expert: Skipping the blue runs to get to the black runs, but sometimes a little cautious when it gets very steep, or some hesitation when your buddy says, ''You just have to clear those rocks or else you're toast.''

Centered Sidecut: Rossignol Skis with Centered Sidecut technology have a miniature sidecut (arc, parabola) directly under the foot of the skier. Even on big powder skis with no real sidecut to speak of, the exaggerated deep radius underfoot gives strong edge grip and easy steering on groomed runs. S7s are the best skis ever.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the the rounded Cap construction forund on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.

Carbon Alloy Matrix: A new generation of super fiber, Carbon Alloy Matrix integrates carbon fiber and basalt into an open diagonal weave, creating more elastic movement for dynamic mobility and uncompromising strength. Linear glass stringers absorb vibrations and add a balanced flex from tip to tail. The result is a finely tuned fusion of damp, planted to the snow edge grip and loose, playful maneuverability.

Free V.A.S.: Visco elastomer material smoothes the rocker/camber transition, reducing tip flap and increasing stability, control and snow contact in changing snow conditions.

Ideal Target Skier: Powder Hound: If you use your sick days only when it snows 12'' or more overnight and not when you're actually sick, this ski is probably for you. Powder Hounds are on the search for deep and untouched powder, and fat skis to ski it with.

Powder Turn: Rossi's Powder Turn technology is basically a quicker way to say that the tips and tails of these skis are tremendously rockered. Extremely early rise tips and tails will make powder skiing easy, and make the ski behave like a much shorter ski should you find yourself on groomed runs.

Light Core: Ultra lightweight Paulownia wood core with Race department fiber laminate combines with the Air Tip to reduce overall ski weight by 20%, enhancing maneuverability and touring capabilities, with no compromise in downhill performance.
