Rossi's 2015 Temptation 77 seems very similar to the Temptation 75...there is only 2mm of width difference between the two skis, right? Wrong! The Temptation 77 is similar, but it deviates from its sister a little bit. The first is that the color scheme is a bit different with a Black and Teal motif and second this ski comes with a Saphir 110 binding (as compared to the Saphir 100, a lighter and lower performance binding). An important feature that both the 75 and 77 have is carbon reinforcement built into the core designed to stiffen it up and make it perform better at higher speeds. Intermediate skiers who stick primarily to the groomed runs will fall in love with this ski quite easily.

Details

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Saphir 110 Bindings Included: These skis come equipped with Saphir 110 bindings which have a din range of 3.5-10 and are fully adjustable (261mm-327mm) once mounted. These bindings are a bit more aggressive than most women's style bindings.

Skier Ability: Lower Intermediate to Upper Intermediate: Skiing all sorts of blue runs, starting to get off trail and into advanced (black diamond) territory, but at controlled speeds.

Ideal Target Skier: Weekend Warrior/Charger: These skiers were once upon a time ski bums, or very proficient skiers in college, then landed an internship that led to a 70 hour work week and a spouse and 2.5 kids. They are still great skiers, and ski hard every chance they get on steeps, moguls, powder... whatever they can get their hands on.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

Tail Rocker: Just like Tip rocker, but in the tail, this feature allows the tails of the skis to release easier from the turn to give the skier the ability to turn the skis quicker in tight spots. It also allows skiers to dump speed by forcing the tails out and sliding sideways. The effective edge is reduced because of the tail rocker, so the skis will also be easier to control when forced to ski on the groomed slopes.

Extended Sidecut: A sidecut technology that Rossignol uses for its mostly groomer skis. When the ski is going fast and you're leaning further into your turn, more of the edge comes in contact with the snow the more extreme your angle is. This gives increased edge hold at higher speeds, while leaving the ski maneuverable at slow speeds. Pretty cool.

Air Tip Technology: Patented air-honeycomb design reduces the weight and dramatically reduces the swing weight of the ski by nearly 30%. This significantly enhances maneuverability, giving the ski and ultra-light feel. Reinforced with ABS for durability and enhanced torsional rigidity.

Square Tail: These skis have a square shaped tail, which adds stability to turns on hardpack as well as very steep terrain. Probably not a park ski, though :)

Metal Tip Protectors: These skis have rugged tip protectors made of metal that will help fight against chipping and damage to the tips, which is both a performance and cosmetic benefit.

Carbon Tech Reinforcement: Special network of carbon fibers with exceptional torsion properties and a balanced stiffness pattern at the same time. This feature will keep the ski rigid and stable without added any extra weight.

Outstanding PurchaseReview by Rick

Bought these skis for my wife for Christmas. They are the perfect weapon for the North East slopes for a person who
spends most of her time on the groomers. They carve like a
dream and she says it's the most fun she has ever had skiing.
Now isn't that the point? BTW level9 is the best. Price shattered everyone else in our area. Shipping was fast.
Everything was outstanding. (Posted on 2/3/2016)

Great All Mountain SkiReview by VailMom

This is truly an amazing all mountain set up. The 2015 Rossignol Temptation 77s are great for turns on groomed runs and gliding through powder. I am in love with these skis; I couldn't be happier. The price was unbeatable, so I took a shot and I'm so glad I did.

I went with the 160s; I'm 5'2" 110lbs and consider myself an advanced skier. I have skied most my life (now 38) and don't ski the extreme runs as often as I used to.

Highly Recommended! (Posted on 12/29/2015)
