Details

Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces (aka snakeskin topsheet) are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.

Ideal Target Skier: Developing Young Skier: Anywhere from first timers to advanced youth skiers, that still have a lot to learn about skiing. They might ski fast sometimes, and have a blast, but aren't comfortable with some areas of the mountain.

Tip Protectors: Plastic protectors on the tip increase the durability of the skis and reduce the likelihood of a delamination. Your tips are the most likely edges to get cracked, keep 'em safe with tip protectors and your skis will last for a long long time. If the tip protectors get damaged, it is not as big a deal as if it were to happen to the actual skis themselves.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax as often.

Active Camber: In a world of early rise, rocker, and reverse camber, there still is a need for traditional full camber skis. The edge grip and stability is unmatched on groomed snow. This ski gets maximum edge to the snow, so it helps skiers skiing the firm stuff, or just prefer the 'feel' of traditional camber skis.

Our friend Rich has made an informative video series on teaching young children to ski. Labelled coincidentally enough teachchildrenskiing.com it's useful to those of you with skiers you would like to introduce to the sport.

Composite Core: This ski features a composite core, which has a softer flex and is lighter weight than wood cores. Junior, entry level, and sometimes even women's models have this type of core to make skiing more enjoyable, and less work.

This ski comes with the Roxy Fixation 4.5 binding (Made by Look). This is a fully adjustable binding (210-290mm) and has a DIN range that goes from .75-4.5.

Saw these this morning at $99. Did they go up or was that an error? Thank you Adrian

Will these skis fit 7 or 7.5 woman size boots? Thanks

The Fixation is adjustable from 210-290mm boot sole lengths. So, Roces adjustable kids boots with sole length 292 mm will not fit. :( Is it possible to modify fixation to fit 292mm boot?
-3
We have a pair of Roces 225 to 255 boots that we bought from you. Could these be drilled to work with these boots?
-3
My daughter and I are about the same size: weight and height except for shoe size. Can I use these skis if I am 5' tall and 110 lbs, if I use a child boot? Also, can I use an adjustable boot even though I am not a child? I would get the adjustable boot that fits size 6 or 6.6 shoes, which I think is 23.5 or 24.
-4
Do both the front and the back part of the binding slide (on rails?)? I am asking because I am wondering if you can center ski boots of various sizes (which you couldn't if only the rear part of the binding was length adjustable).
-6
I am a 5'1" and 120lbs woman. I am looking for a pair of short skis. I am planning to buy Salomon Divine LX Women's Ski Boots for 23.5 Mondo size to go with these skis. Are these skis going to work for me?
-6
You don't carry these skis in the 80-84cm size. Can they be special ordered or any suggestions on where they can be purchased in this size? My daughter loves the graphics.

10 year old daughter loves them! Her only complaint is they don't have cats on them. For the price, I'll give her a Sharpie and she can draw as many cats on them as she wants. Great deal! Also, very quick shipping! Thanks Level Nine. (Posted on 3/20/2016)
