In an age of phat powder rocker reverse early rise asymmetrical sidewall topsheet skis, sometimes its hard to just find a good charging front-side ski. Enter 24 Hours Sport, which wields an upper 70's-mm waist, is definitely wide enough to bust through crud and light powder with relative ease, but these ski's real purpose is fast times on groomed slopes. The 24 Hours skis are popular for their fantastic edge hold, and very competent dampening at high speeds. The target skier here would be strong technically, and ready to rip, not necessarily 'expert,' but a good skier. The Z12 B80 bindings come included which have a DIN range from 4-12 (ideal for this ski) and are adjustable from 257-380mm.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Secret Stash. You have found the secret stash, home to the best deals on the net, these are the best deals from a website of great deals, insane discounts on products we are trying to move out. These products won't last long so be sure to be quick on the trigger.

Ideal Target Skier: East Coast Hardpack Lover: This is an excellent ski for East Coast skiers that ski aggressively on the hardpack while still getting off trail a bit. West Coast skiers: this is a carving ski that should only be brought out when the powder is gone and its time to rip the groomers.

Skier Ability: Upper Intermediate: This ski allows the higher intermediate skiers to feel comfortable at a wide range of speeds, and offer a good mix of stability for aggressive skiing without loosing the ability to turn easily at slower speeds, if that's your thing.

Speed: Fast: At this speed, these skiers are passing most of the others on blue square runs, and keeping up with most skiers on black diamond runs.

Salomon Carve Rocker: Developed for performance on hard snow; extra short length, low height rocker profile in the tip, provides instant carving sensations, with easy and precise steering. Camber under foot guarantees stability, edge grip and gives the ski powerful rebound.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Titanium Layer: A thin, but strong layer of Titanium sits under the topsheet of this ski. Not only does it make the ski stronger, it keeps it lighter than other metals, and also creates a dampening effect for the ski. This means it rides smoother over bumpy terrain.

Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces (aka snakeskin topsheet) are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.

Tip Protectors: Plastic protectors on the tip increase the durability of the skis and reduce the likelihood of a delamination. Your tips are the most likely edges to get cracked, keep 'em safe with tip protectors and your skis will last for a long long time. If the tip protectors get damaged, it is not as big a deal as if it were to happen to the actual skis themselves.

Salomon Pulse Pad: A layer of rubber along the edges and in certain zones of the ski for a smoother ride and improved snow contact.

Integrated Binding System: Once mounted, the binding sits on rails or a plate that is affixed to the ski. The main difference, however, is that the binding can move slightly on the rail during the flexing motion of the ski underneath. This setup means the binding does not inhibit the flex of the ski as it is sort of floating on these rails. What this means for the skier: A more even flex and smoother turn, with less skidding or 'chatter' from the ski. This is most noticeable on groomed terrain.

Hi I am 5'8" and between an intermediate and advanced intermediate skier. Would these skis work for me? Do they come in any other larger sizes? Hi! I consider myself a lower intermediate skier. I skied a lot when i was a kid and I started back last year after a 5 years break. I ski on the East Coast and I'm searching for a versatile ski. I like to go off trails as well as on the trails. I'm a 5'9, 170 lbs man. Which one do you recommend: and why one in particular - Salomon 24 Hours Sport (158 cm) - Salomon 24 X-Kart Sport (162 cm) - Fischer Viron Fire (165 cm) - Salomon BBR 7.5 Skis (165 cm) Thank you

I am a 5 9'1/2" and 195 lbs male. I am a low intermediate skier with hockey skating and strong inline speed skating background. Will these skis, ski length and bindings work for my needs mainly on the East coast with a rare trip to the West coast/ Rockies (optional) and will help me as I continue to progress. I also wear a size 14 boot... Mondo 32.0. Thanks!

Great Skis for Beginner/Intermediates Review by Tyler B.
Rating
I bought these skis last season and have been nothing but impressed. This was my first ski purchase so I did a lot of research on which companies had quality skis that would last for awhile and preform well. Last year I took these skis from the beginner slopes all the way over to rails and jumps in the ski park. They have performed great. This year I am ski patrol and plan to put these skis through their paces as patrol the mountain. I have full confidence these skis will handle any task the mountain puts in my way. I'm from PA so I mostly ski on groomed snow, but these are great skis I would recommend to family and friends. (Posted on 10/23/2015)

Well just got the skis and actually wont ski on them till next season but wanted to compliment level 9 on a phenomenal purchasing and shipping experience. These skis should be great for my instructor training next December and to teach on. Its a brand new pair of "demo" skis with the demo/rental binding. I usually buy used demos to save money and its such a treat to have a fresh unused pair at less than the Ebay price for demos that have been beat on for a season or two. Nice work Level 9! Great skis! As an instructor I love them and am able to fly down the slopes and hold every turn without question. They don't vibrate and stay where put, makes me look really good. Extremely happy and bragging to all my friends. Perfect price. (Posted on 2/19/2015)

but what is most impressive is the the Powerline dampening system which suppresses almost all vibrations. It's like being on rails. They had to be waxed several times and the edges had to be smoothed out with diamond stones because they were too rough out of the factory. Great buy. (Posted on 2/18/2015)
