The BBR Limelite skis are a women's specific model that comes with an integrated binding. These are the same design as the other models but this one in particular has a 74mm waist and a 127mm shovel. This wide shovel will not only help in powder and crud but will allow the ski to initiate turns insanely quickly. These skis were created to bridge the gap between powder skis and carving skis enabling the skier to choose just one ski to rule them all! These are bright green so you won't have any trouble finding them in the deep snow. The L10 B80 bindings comes included which are Black. They also have a DIN range from 3-10 and are adjustable to most all women's boot sizes 229-336mm.

Details

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Ideal Target Skier: West Coast All Mountain Skier: Skiers on the west coast will enjoy this ski as an all mountain, do everything model, while skiers on the east coast will find this more suitable for powder skiing, or when there is chopped up crud to be had.

Salomon L10 Bindings Included: These skis come with Salomon L10 bindings included which are a fully adjustable binding with a din range of 3-10. These are lightweight and super easy to use which makes them a great match for these Salomon skis.

Salomon BBR Skis: These skis are not like other skis, the shape is unique and not found anywhere else (yet). These skis are extremely versatile, as their waist widths are not incredibly wide they are nimble in the trees and can carve on hardpack. But the flip side is the big surfy tip, which will absolutely help non-powder skiers learn to love powder. You could take these to the mountain everyday of the winter, no problem.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

V-Shape Sidecut: A very wide tip shape, coupled with a narrow waist and narrow tail, this is the next generation of 'shaped' skis. They are as good on groomers as the current generation of carving skis, but way better in powder.

Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces (aka snakeskin topsheet) are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.

Tip Protectors: Plastic protectors on the tip increase the durability of the skis and reduce the likelihood of a delamination. Your tips are the most likely edges to get cracked, keep 'em safe with tip protectors and your skis will last for a long long time. If the tip protectors get damaged, it is not as big a deal as if it were to happen to the actual skis themselves.

Salomon Pulse Pad: A layer of rubber along the edges and in certain zones of the ski for a smoother ride and improved snow contact.

Twin Tip Skis: Not just for spinning 360s in the park any more. These ski have turned up tails, aka twin tips. While they will definitely aid you in hurling those aforementioned 360s, they also do many other things. They make landing jumps and skiing backwards smoother, but they also ski better in trees and tight situations where the reduced running length add to mobility. In fact the only downside to twin tips is that they don't perform true full arced carving turns as well as traditional skis. But hey, the world has evolved to doing more than simple carving so maybe you should too.

Light Density Core: Designed for women, this core is made from a composite material that maintains a powerful feel but is 20% more lightweight.

Last one in the family to upgrade skis, went from Elans to a rather yucky green Salomon :). Took a while to get used to but wow they go thru anything and turn really nice. For the first time in years I am able to keep up with anyone no matter what the conditions and I never feel out of control! Love them! (Posted on 1/19/2016)

I tried these skis out for the first time yesterday in typical east coast spring conditions and they were wonderful. Super easy to control and turn in an instant. They look just as great as they perform too - I actually got a couple compliments on them from people on the lift. These skis are a great deal. (Posted on 3/20/2015)

I have been skiing for years, back in the days of 210 cm skis so I didnt' want to feel that I was stepping down or retreating, kind of a ski snob. I consider myself an advanced skier. I spent hours on the phone with customer service and we settled on these skis. I was able to ski with my kids all over Breckenridge and Vail, green, blue, black, groomed, powder, white out conditions and loved these skis. (Posted on 2/23/2015)

I just rode these on cruddy groomers all day yesterday and it was like passing a hot knife through butter! They carved so easily that I am not even sore after a whole day on the slopes. They are far easier to ski on than any rentals I have tried so far. Very worthy for this novice skier who follows her kids around the mountain all day. They read the snow very nicely too!
