The Cruiser 4D is going to be your everyday, put it on and go helmet option. It is very lightweight, you'll barely even notice its on your head. Its got all the bells and whistles that Salomon offers including adjustable fit, airflow vents for proper temperature regulation and removable ear pads. Backed by their spectacular 2-year warranty (most brands are only 1) you can trust that this helmet will keep you protected for quite some time.

Expanded Polystyreme (EPS) is a hard foam interior designed for high impact collisions. Slightly heavier than other types of foam, but this is as safe as your noggin is going to be. This is a new Construction from Salomon that absorbs more shock than any other liner on the market.

ABS Plastic Shell: ABS, short for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, is a lightweight, injection molded plastic that is highly durable and impact resistant.

Airflow Concept: Channels designed inside the shell provide even air movement all over your head.

Simply turn the Dial to ensure a snug fit around your head. It couldn't be any easier to adjust!

Safety Standards: CE EN 1077-96: This is a European standard that has performed testing on these helmets to ensure they function as designed, and that they exceed the minimum standards for snow sports. In other words, they dropped heavy objects on the helmets, and they didn't break.
ASTM 2040-02: The US equivalent of the European testing standard, so you know it has solid backing.
