This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Description

Details

100mm last: A performance width for advanced recreational skiers all the way up to expert level skiers. This is also suitable for skiers with narrower than average feet.

85 Flex Rating: A flex of 85 is moderately stiff for an adult, and very stiff/advanced for a youth. Boots of this flex are responsive enough for aggressive skiing but should still fit pretty comfy. Boots of this nature usually make good park/powder boots because they are more forgiving when landing jumps than a race boot, but they are responsive enough not to melt when you're skiing hard.

Instep Catch: The instep catch is on a hinge allowing it to adjust for better pressure distribution and closure. It can pivot away from the shell allowing the shell to spread without interference allowing easy entry and exit.

Quick Instep: A softer piece of plastic is co-molded in the instep area that results in an easy-entry and easy-exit instep that is guaranteed to make the beginning and end of your day much more enjoyable.

Cuff Alignment: The cuff of this boot is beyond adjustable. It aligns the cuff to follow the shape of the skiers' lower leg, increasing comfort and enhancing performance.

Bi component shell: Two different densities of plastic used to keep the boot stiff and able to perform at high speeds, yet softer in specific areas to make them easier to put on and take off.

Fleece Lining: This boot sports a fleece lining to add extra warmth to the foot. It also adds a great deal of comfort as the lining breaks in and forms around the foot.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

45mm Strap: Super wide strap found on high performance boots. The extra width spreads out the force while skiing and reduces the pressure point on the upper shin.

Thermo-moldable Liner: These liners can be pre-molded before you ski, by warming the up and walking around, or you can mold them over time simply by skiing in them. The liner can be remolded multiple times, as well!

i-Rebound Flex Adjust: i-Rebound features a metal plate that attaches the cuff to the lower with four metal-to-metal connection points. The i-Rebound provides forward flex resistance and power rebound as well as rear support.

Product Questions

Product Questions

The description shows that the sole length is 280mm. I just want to confirm that this is correct since I currently have a Tecnica boot (Fling) and the sole length of my 22.5 is 270mm. Did Tecnica use the same shell for both 23.5 and 22.5 in this model? Very bummed if they did since I was considering this boot. Thanks.
