If your kid has ever been on a website called Newschoolers, they probably want this ski. The Wall boy's twin tip skis is the kid's version of the ski that Ahmet Dadali, a likely hero of theirs, uses to tear up terrain parks. This full rocker, wood-core ski has all the features of its adult counterpart so that it will hold up to the abuses of park skiing as your young skier explores the more creative side of skiing. It is also a little known fact that park skis are very well built skis in their own right, and hold their own as carvers (before rails wear the edges down into oblivion) for when the family decides to take some laps outside of the park.
Free Binding Mounting: We will mount your ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.
Ideal Target Skier: Developing Young Skier: Anywhere from first timers to advanced youth skiers, that still have a lot to learn about skiing. They might ski fast sometimes, and have a blast, but aren't comfortable with some areas of the mountain.
Early Rise: Somewhere between rocker and traditional sits the Early Rise. This helps the tip of the ski get up in softer snow, and still maintains good edge grip and firm snow performance.
Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.
Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.
Twin tip skis: are where its at these days. Their versatility allows you to ski powder in the morning, bumps at midday, and session the park in the afternoon. The turned up tail is also optimal for skiing backwards (switch), but for most people, it just looks cool.
We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.
